Bonne Année
Festive folks around the world, seasons greetings. A Merry Mutley Xmas! Tardy, yes, but the reason is pretty exceptional, my Elle column. The first assignment was to report on the Christmas and New Year parties-One hellava job we can all agree. Not only was I sucking my pencil to craft the words but there were the photos to consider. Phew !
Nonetheless knockout my debut hopes to be. Help will come from my guest stars of the month Drew Barrymore, Patsy Kensit and Azzedine Alaia. High glamour factor. The only concern I have is that I really overdid it and have set the bar too high for next time.
On top of all that I have to work out the next Mutt Mag. For this I have already shot a series of snaps of me on a micro scooter.Lets face it I work hard for the money.

December 2000
Tidings of joy!!! Christmas came early this year with my appointment as Elle UK's Paris correspondent. Whoopee!!!!
I am overwhelmed with joy and will be dancing round the Christmas tree. My first column will be a Yule party report from the French capital. Can't stop, my cab is here.
Absolutely fabulously yours Mutt
PS I' ll be giving regulars advance titbits
Patsy Kensit
The European Film Awards are one of the most glittering annual events, and this year they were in my hometown Paris. Rupert Everett was one of the comperes and took a look at Mutt Mag and pronounced it fine and dandy. A cavalcade of stars were present, but I ended my night with blonde bombshell Patsy Kensit.

A photo op was not possible at the event so she kindly invited me to join her at dinner at the legendary La Coupole restaurant in Montparnasse.
Midnight, in the pouring rain, I arrived and was warmly welcomed. Using my new super Sony digital we cuddled up and worked the camera. I sure you'll agree Patsy most certainly worked that camera. Smiles, kisses and we parted but will be beamed around the world together thanks to the web.Sharing, carin', yeah, thats me.
Until the next time.

Lovebombed by Charlie's Angels
I'm a modest guy. So naturally at the Charlie's Angels press conference at the Plaza Athnee in Paris I tucked myself away at the back to watch the babes in action, talking up their fabtastic film.
Imagine my surprise when Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu came in from behind. Suprise doubled, tripled and then went off the scale when I was lovebombed by the babes. And I didn't even say hi!
"Oh he's so cute!!!!" squealed Drew. "Sooooooo adorable" cooed Lucy and then they were all over me. The press corps of France turned as one as Charlie's Angels. What a thrill and how I blushed.
My dearest project looks a step further. Mutt and the Angels or I would settle for a Bosley-type role.
Later that night when I arrived home there were comments about "what's that perfume" I am not joking.

Week ending 17th November 2000
"Well it was going to happen. The babes are aflocking. This week has had me in a real state. First on Tuesday night I was lovebombed in the street by a charming young man named Luc who was looking for a stud for his little fox terrier, Mute. Numbers were exchanged and come next May we might be looking at an exchange of more than numbers!
The very next day showing a lovely American mum through my Mutt Mags the idea was hatched that one of the litter would find a home chez elle in Seattle.
The ideas went mad. Thoughts of a cyber selection of puppy were muted and there was a feeling that the new born was already heading across the Atlantic.
More West Coast action was to follow when Mina turned up. Get this chick, a white toy poodle with blue dye in her locks. What a number. I spent the afternoon trying to jump up for a kiss but she was kept arms length from me in the protective cuddle of Elizabeth Sneed. Still we certainly didn't pass
up the photo opportunity.
Should the Seattle placement go well Mina can pop up the coast to visit Son Of Mutt.
Gotta tell you I feel like a real man.
